About
A Colorado engineer, a very small company, on purpose
Mimicus Dynamics is a one-person shop in Denver. You talk to the person who builds the thing, every time — there is no account manager between you and the work, and the scope is sized to the capacity of the practice.
Colorado native
Grew up here, studied here, still here. Your customers are our neighbors.
Small on purpose
One client at a time gets built properly. We would rather turn work down than take on more than we can do well.
Denver based
Up and down the Front Range in person, the rest of Colorado by video. We know what a hail season does to a roofing calendar.
Real engineering behind it
Six years building AI systems for very large organizations. Same engineering, aimed at a business with one location instead of ten thousand employees.
Why this exists
The short version
The first local implementation was a hand-tied extension studio in Highlands Ranch. The owner answered service questions and consultation inquiries between appointments. The project connected intake, approved business information, and the existing booking process.
Salons and studios are the starting point because that is where the local implementation experience is. Home-service businesses need their own intake, urgency, and handoff rules; work in those industries starts with a scoped pilot.
Six years of AI engineering experience also supports a separate service: AI & Operations Consulting. That work helps owners assess scheduling, repetitive administration, and business knowledge before deciding what to automate. Read the technical background.
How we work
Four things we will not bend on
Match the tool to the job
Not every problem wants AI. Sometimes the fix is a booking link and a Google Business Profile that someone actually answers. We will tell you when that is the case, before you have paid us anything.
The unglamorous part is the product
Most of these projects fail on the plumbing — the form that silently stops sending, the review request nobody set up — not on the design. We spend disproportionate effort on the parts nobody demos.
Built so someone else could run it
Documentation, a runbook, and accounts in your name are not favors. The handover describes dependencies and maintenance so another engineer can take over.
We say when it will not work
The most useful thing a consultant can tell you is sometimes that the project should not happen. We would rather lose the job than take a deposit for something you will regret in six months.

Let’s talk about your week
No pitch deck, no discovery-call funnel. A conversation about what is eating your time and whether we can actually fix it.
